After a six year hiatus, I returned to SacAnime for one night only.
In the past I would stay in Sacramento all weekend and attend all three days of the convention. Unfortunately, I could only get Friday off of work.
I arrived at 3:30pm, just enough time to make it to the Pokemon cosplay gathering. There was a small group of friendly cosplayers. Unfortunately, whoever planned the gathering didn’t attend. The Miltank cosplayer took over so everyone could hit their poses.
Directly after the Pokemon convention, I changed from my Trainer Red cosplay to my Wirt (Over the Garden Wall) cosplay. I asked a few other cosplayers for their pictures while walking around. I only walked up to characters I knew, however.
I spent the remainder of the night dancing. Four hours straight, and I was even invited on stage to dance alongside the DJ and women. Glowsticks were thrown everywhere, and some interesting creations were made.
