Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee are basically the same game, so why the two versions? Like most Pokemon games, there are a handful of Pokemon exclusive to each version. This is to promote trading and battling with other players. The exclusive Pokemon are listed below.

Unlike all other Pokemon games from the main series, the Pokemon you begin your adventure with will be locked to the game. Let’s Go Pikachu will set Pikachu as your starter with Eevee as your Rival’s starter. Let’s Go Eevee will set Eevee as your starter with Pikachu as your Rival’s starter. Additionally, the partner Pokemon Pikachu and Eevee can learn special moves unique to the game, cannot evolve, and cannot be traded.
