HP / PP Restoring Items
These items restore Hit Points (HP) and Power Points (PP) in and out of battle. Since they are man made, they cannot be used by Pokemon when held.
Most HP items can be bought at Poke Marts after earning new badges. Fresh Water, Soda Pop, and Lemonade are often bought from vending machines. The PP restoring items cannot be bought anywhere, only found

Status Restore Items are items that cure various status conditions. Since they are man made, they cannot be used by Pokemon when held. Most can be bought at Poke Marts after clearing gyms.
