Final Fantasy VII Remake was announced several months ago. Here are my thoughts.
Final Fantasy VII Remake was announced at E3 2015 with a very short teaser trailer. When I first saw this teaser I was incredibly skeptical. I didn’t want to get fooled like everyone else at the PlayStation experience in 2014 when they just announced the Final Fantasy VII PC port on PS4. But then it was official, a remake!
I wondered if Sony and Square Enix decided to finally do this remake after all the negative feedback at the PlayStation experience. All that was show was a short teaser trailer that could have been made in that short time. This is all just speculation.
At the PlayStation Experience 2015, Square Enix and Sony showed off a little gameplay of Final Fantasy VII Remake. It looks like it’s active turn based again like the original FFV, or maybe it’s more like FFXIII and XIII-2.
Shortly after PSX 2015, news came in that the game will be released in multiple parts. I’m not quite sure why even with the interview transcripts that were given at some news sites. The developers said some parts may be taken out of the game but more will be added. It didn’t quite explain why the multiple parts. Some are speculating that they want multiple parts similar to the three discs that Final Fantasy VII came on. I’m not sure how many episodes there will be, and I’m not happy that they’re going to split up this game! I guess we’ll just have to wait for more info.
