In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, players can choose from several Operators to represent their character in multiplayer games. Each Operator may have several skin options to choose from, and a special finishing move that can be performed by holding a specific button when standing behind an enemy combatant.
Operators are split into two factions: Coalition or Allegiance. One Operator can be selected per faction, or a random Operator can be selected which chooses a random Operator at the beginning of the match. Only one Operator will be available at Rank 1, but more Operators can be unlocked by completing challenges or purchasing them in the store.
