Call of Duty: Black Ops features four Downloadable Content (DLC) packs. Each pack contains several multiplayer maps and at least one Zombies map. This page gives a quick rundown of the multiplayer maps, but the Zombies map will be on their own page with much more detail.
First Strike Map Pack
The First Strike Map Pack is the first downloadable content for Call of Duty: Black Ops. It was released on February 1, 2011 on the Xbox 360; March 3, 2011 on the PS3; and has yet to be released on Playstation 3 and PC. The Map Pack is 646.37 MB in size and costs 1200 Microsoft Points for the 360. It’s 1.7GB in size and costs $14.99 on the PS3. In the map pack are 4 multiplayer maps and 1 Zombie Mode Map.
Berlin Wall
Black Ops vs Spetsnaz. Berlin Wall is a snowy map set in Germany. The map is separated into two areas full of buildings. There are three roads to get to the other side. One of the roads is directly in the middle of a snowy field. If you put one foot on the field, you will be shot by atleast one sentry gun set in a tower.
Discovery
Black Ops vs Spetsnaz. Discovery is a snowy map set in the Artic. It takes place in a former Nazi Research center. The map is taken from the campaign mission “Project Nova.”
Kowloon
Black Ops vs Spetsnaz. Kowloon is a map set on a rainy rooftop in Kowloon, China. The map is taken from the campaign mission “Numbers.” In the map are two zip lines which can be used to swing down to a side of the map. While using the zipline, you will be exposed to anyone around. You cannot use a weapon while on the zip line.
Stadium
Black Ops vs Spetsnaz. Stadium is a map set in a Hockey Arena area is the United States. Most of the map is set in the outside of the arena, one small area takes place in the bleachers/seats.
Ascension
Set in a Russian spaceport, Ascension is the first Zombies DLC map for Call of Duty Black Ops.
Escalation Map Pack
Treyarch released their second DLC Content Pack – A.K.A. Map Pack – for Call of Duty: Black Ops, entitled “Escalation.” It was released for the Xbox 360 on May 3, 2011 for 1200 Microsoft Points ($14.99). The PS3 version was released on June 10, 2011. The Escalation Content Pack contains 4 multiplayer maps and 1 zombie mode map. The Content Pack’s file size is 986.42 MB for the Xbox 360, and roughly 2.4 GB for the PS3.

“Intense combat in the aftermath of a Soviet ambush on American soil.”

Call of the Dead
Set around a shipwreck in the arctic, play as one of four celebrities in Call of the Dead, the second Zombies DLC map for Call of Duty Black Ops.

Drive-In
“Close-quarter fights and powerful overwatches at an abandoned outdoor cinema.”
This is a small map of a Drive-In. There’s a small easter egg here in the arcade room. There’s a video game with a MP40 attached to it. It’s called “Call of Duty World at War: Uber Shooter.” Video
Hangar 18
“Soviet forces have infiltrated a highly classified U.S. facility.”
This is a wide open map with a few buildings around. It contains a huge easter egg.Video
Hazard
“Keep an eye out or snipers as you battle up and down the fairway of this cliffside golf course.”
Hazard is a remake (slightly) of the World at War Map “Cliffside.”Video
Silo
“Conflict erupts at a missile launch facility. Lots of close engagements and flank routes.”
Silo is a medium-sized open map. There are a few building here and there, but nothing too cramped. A missile will launch in the distance every minute or so. Video
Shangri La
Set in an ancient temple in the middle of the amazon, Shangri La is the third Zombies DLC Map for Black Ops.
Rezurrection Map Pack Information
The Rezurrection Content Pack is the last DLC pack for Call of Duty Black Ops. It was first released on August 23, 2011 for 1200 Microsoft Points on the XBox 360.
The pack contains four zombie maps that were originally released with Call of Duty World at War and their DLC packs. The four zombie maps were re-released with Call of Duty Black Ops’ Hardened and Prestige Editions. All the weapons on the walls are the same, with the exception of the Springfield on Zombie Verruckt (now called Verruckt) being replaced with the Kar98K. All weapons in the Mystery Box have been replaced with the same set of weapons from the other zombie map Mystery Box weapons. New editions are the dive to prone ability, carpenter power-up on all maps, and the four original zombie characters are playable on all maps.

I’m a Hardened or Prestige Edition owner, how do I get Moon for Free?
If you have already downloaded the Classic Zombies Pack that came with the Hardened and Prestige Editions of Call of Duty®: Black Ops, fire up the game and go to the Zombies menu. Select either SPLITSCREEN or XBOX LIVE and make sure you are using the XBOX live profile that you used to redeem the maps. There will be a new menu option that reads “FREE ZOMBIES LEVEL.” Select this option and you will be allowed to download Rezurrection for ZERO points starting on August 23rd. If you still have the code from the Hardened or Prestige Edition but have not redeemed the Classic Zombies Pack, you can use your code whenever you like, Rezurrection will still be free for you when it is available on August 23rd.
You can also acquire Rezurrection for free by re-downloading it from Marketplace or from the STORE in the MP menu on the 23rd.
How do I get my free Moon Theme?
Once Rezurrection has been downloaded, go to the In-game Store in the Multiplayer menus and select the tab marked “FREE OFFER.” Presto, free theme.
How do I get my free Call of Duty®: Zombies Soundtrack?
Once Rezurrection has been downloaded, go to the Zombies menu and select “ZOMBIES SOUNDTRACK” from Splitscreen and/or Xbox Live. Make note of your Offer Code in the pop-up window, go to the URL provided and enter your GamerTag and Offer Code. The soundtrack will automatically start to download.
