Obtainable Pokemon
Snorlax Lv50 (just once)
Drowzee
Hypno
Rattata
Magnemite
Stand next to the Snorlax and open your pokegear. Drag the little dot in the radio part to the top middle until you find the “Poke Flute.” Close your pokegear and talk to the Snorlax so it will attack. You can capture it or defeat it. When you’re done with that head inside the cave.

Diglett Cave
Obtainable Pokemon
Diglett
Dugtrio
Diglett Cave is a straight shot to the other side until you have rock climb. They are PP Max and Rock Incense.
Route 2
When you exit the cave head to the right and up to get a Carbos. South is a Pnk Apricorn Tree and a house. Inside the house a man will give you a nugget. Keep going south and you’ll get a Sacred Ash from one of Prof. Oak’s Aides. Keep going south and you’ll find an Elixir. Now head all the way back up and cut a small tree. Continue North
Pewter City
Head inside the Pokemon Center and a man will be willing to trade is Xatu for your Haunter. The PokeMart is in the middle of town and a man is standing next to it on a hill. Talk to him to receive the Rainbow Wing (Soul Silver)/ Silver Wing (Heart Gold)! The very top right corner of town has two Apricorn trees, Wht and blu. The top left corner of town has a Museum. You can squeeze your way around the left side and follow a path (you’ll need rock smash to continue) and find the item “Wise Glasses.” Inside the museum is a man that will bring pokemon back to life if you have a fossil. Supposedly you can get some at the Ruins of Alph. The only thing left to do is go to the GYM!
Pewter City GYM
The Pewter City GYM uses primarily Rock type pokemon. The majority of rock type pokemon also are ground types too and are double weak against grass, water, and ice. Rock is good against flying, ice, fire, and bug type pokemon. The GYM is straight forward. You can battle the two trainers on the way to the GYM Leader or take a small path around the two. One has a Rhydon and the other has a Golem at level 50.
GYM Leader Brock – P6240, TM80 Rock Slide, Boulder Badge
Graveler (Male) Lv51
Type:Rock/Ground
Ability:Sturdy
Attacks:
-Rock Slide (Rock/Physical)
-Rollout (Rock/Physical)
-Earthquake (Ground/Physical)
-Defense Curl (Normal/Other)
EXP:1464
Graveler can be tough. Earthquake and rockslide are strong attacks. If he uses defense curl and then rollout then his defense will be raised AND rollout will do more damage.

Type:Rock/Ground
Ability:Sturdy
Attacks:
-Earthquake (Ground/Physical)
-Sandstorm (Rock/Other)
-Horn Drill (Normal/Physical/OHKO)

EXP:1474
Rhyhorn can knock you out with one shot if Horn Drill hits. Sandstorm can hurt your party each turn for a few turns if your pokemon isn’t rock/steel/or ground. Scary face will lower your pokemon’s speed. This pokemon won’t do much to you unless he actually lands a Horn Drill or uses Earthquake.
Omastar (Male) Lv53
Type:Rock/Water
Ability:Swift Swim
Attacks:
-AncientPower (Rock/Special)
-Brine (Water/Special)
-Spike Cannon (Normal/Physical)
