The Hive Badge
After the battle exit out of the GYM and you’ll get a call from Prof. Elm. He tells you to go to the Pokemart to pick up the egg you delivered earlier. Just walk around with the egg in your party and it’ll eventually hatch! When it does hatch call up Prof. Elm. He will tell you to go and see him with the egg. So try and make it hatch before the end of route 32. When you do reach him put Togepi at the top of your party and speak to Prof. Elm. He’ll give you an Everstone.
Continue on eastward to Route 36 after you healed your pokemon.
Route 36
Route 36 is kind of a dead end because a weird tree is blocking the way. If you talk to one of the people on the route you’ll get HM06 which is Rock Smash. To use it outside of battle you’ll need the Violet City GYM Badge. Next head south to the Ruins of Alph.
Ruin of Alph
The ruins of Alph are…..well….ruins. They hold a pokemon mystery! There are three rooms you can get into. One is full of scientist which we’ll get to later. One reaches an old hall full of people checking out the ruins. The Third I’ll talk about later.
Bring a pokemon that knows Rock Smash. At the north end of the Ruins you’ll find some smashable rocks. Inside one is a blue shard and behing that rock is a non smashable rock with a rare candy inside. At the south end of the Ruins there will be another non smashable rock with a great ball hidden inside. It’s across the lab’s front door.
Now head to the third house like ruin. A potion will be inside and you can head right, up into another house, left, and into a ruin. Inside you’ll see a secret message on the back wall that says “ESCAPE.” After reading it use an Escape Rope to open a secret passage. Inside are some items: Oran Berry, Pecha Berry, Energy Powder, and Heal Powder. In the back of the room is a hole. Inside the hole will be another message that reads “OUR CLAN ENGRAVED WORDS IN THIS PLACE.” Jump into the next hole to reach the hall with people inside. Exit out and go back to the ruin with the secret passage. Instead of going in the secret passage, this time read the plate next to the lady. There will be a puzzle of a Kabuto. It’s not very hard. There are four pieces missing. The pieces are on the sides of the puzzle. Tap the pieces to rotate them and then drag and drop them into place. When you get the puzzle right you’ll fall down another hole. At the bottom you’ll find an archeologist who will give you the key item “UNOWN Report” which marks all 26 unown after you catch them. Inside this hall you can find the unown. When you’re done exit out and continue your journey. Next is route 32.
